Are the answers actually grounded in the theologians’ own writings?
Yes. Every response is generated from a vector index over the actual primary sources — Confessions, the Summa, the Institutes, sermons, letters — and citations are surfaced inline so you can verify any claim. We are explicit about modal limitations: the model can paraphrase and apply, but it cites where claims come from.
Can I cancel anytime?
Anytime, in two clicks. No contracts, no retention dark-patterns. If you cancel mid-cycle you keep access through the end of the period.
How do you handle disagreements between theologians?
We don’t flatten them. Calvin sounds like Calvin; Wesley sounds like Wesley. Panel mode lets you watch them argue in real time, each holding their convictions intact. The point is not consensus — it is conversation.
Is this a substitute for a pastor or spiritual director?
No. AdFontes is a study companion, not a confessor. It is excellent for catechesis, for deepening reading, for stretching across traditions you wouldn’t otherwise meet. It is not for cure of souls — go to a flesh-and-blood shepherd for that.
What happens to my conversations and data?
They are yours. Stored encrypted, available to export at any time, deleted on request. We do not sell or share. We do not train external models on your conversations.
